However, even when you’re in the flow it can soon take a turn for the worse and you find yourself heading unexpectedly to the dirt. This is where the D3 Fiberlite comes in. Troy Lee Designs have incorporated the best features from their D3 Carbon and Composite designs into a more value-focused lid, creating a hybrid that delivers exceptional protection for all your mountain bike adventures. An EPS foam core absorbs crash impacts while the tough fibreglass shell maintains strength and fends off those regular knocks and bumps of a fun mountain bike session.  Optimised Airflow Cool and airy comfort is taken care of via 20 high-flow intake ports and six exhausts that maximise the flow of air around the head. Wind-tunnel tested, it has already proved its aerodynamic ability and the efficient ventilation system works hand-in-hand with the ports to help you avoid sweat. Keeping you focused as you line up the mother of all kickers, the D3 Fiberlite has been crafted from a lightweight fibreglass shell, the lid weighs in at just 1225g and provides a precise and comfortable fit thanks to the specially-sized 3D cheek pads. The padded interior liner is removable and washable, letting you enjoy a fresh fit every ride.  All the Extras If the unthinkable should happen and you suffer a fall, the internal pads can be removed with a lever to provide an easy exit from the helmet. Internal cavities let you plug in your favourite audio player for all your on the trail tunes. And you’ll even get a protective sock for your Fiberlite, keeping it safe when you’re storing it away between sessions.
